G5 Agony part 2
#1
I thought about updating my old post, but I'll be honest, I didn't want it to get lost.

Got home with my new Tiger disk. And like an idiot I unplugged the seagate AND booted from the new Tiger disk removing 2 variables. Oh well. Onward.

So I booted off my new Tiger DVD and did an erase and install. I held my breath as not only did the disk checkout fine, but it completed the install no problem. Woohoo.

I then restarted and began the process of transferring my old G4 stuff. Booted my G4 into target disk mode and began the migration. 150GB to go! 4 hours and 17 minutes. So i go upstairs and I hear what sounds like a plane taking off downstairs. I go take a look, and sure enough, got a big fat kernel panic.
