Ok, the DW 3.0.3 update won't help me because my original DW disk won't start the iBook. I get a kernel panic on bootup.
SMART status is verified.
I'll give the Target disk mode a shot tomorrow. It is really difficult for me to get to the FW port on the Sawtooth, so it is going to take some maneuvering I am not up for at this hour.
