I never understood the "going to work when you feel like death warmed over" thing. My wife does this and it annoys me to no end! Our lives aren't like the movies where you miss a day of work and the "Boss" decides you aren't dedicated enough and gives the other guy the "big promotion".

Cancel it, I say. No one likes damn meetings anyway! It annoys me as well. However, now aday not everyone has sick days. I myself included. It's a tough one when it's "No work. No pay".
