Unfortunately, it can be a lesser of two evils situation where going to work is the better of the options available to them. Many people go to work despite feeling like hell for a variety of reasons. For example, some cannot afford to take the time off and/or they've already used up all of their alloted sick/holiday/vacation/etc hours. Deadlines come to mind as well. I'm just glad Paul can take the time off because it is truly the best choice.
Paul - Feel better! And, remember, this is just the right time to enjoy lots of feel good food, i.e. jello, hello water, pudding, etc!
