Filliam's comment about Brittney really made me laugh. What is with that girl?
Maybe what we really need-- for both gays and straights-- is a LONG probationary period before and/or after the wedding to give people an "out", in case they realize they made a horrible mistake. I thought that's what engagements were supposed to be for, but it seems that a broken engagement is still considered somewhat of a faux pas and scandalous ... why? Should it be so incredibly horrible that you realize that you DIDN'T want to spend the rest of your life with that person? Better that you figure that out BEFORE you get married, then spend years and years with someone you despise... but of course, that would make sense.
