The Widescreen takeover. Are regular monitors a thing of the past?

I don't like widescreen. When doing the more pedestrian computer stuff, it seems there is always a big chunk of unused screen on the right. The reason they went widescreen was that they get a lot more 19" widescreen panels per sheet of panel than they do 4:3 19".
