The key in mouse selection is to not get fooled by seeing that certain mice "aren't supported for Mac OSX." That just means that the mouse's manufacturer doesn't make software for Macs. But third-party mouse software, like SteerMouse and others, do. If it's USB, it'll run on a Mac.
And actually, many manufacturer's software isn't as good as third party, so try out both types of software to get full advantage of multi-button mice.
