To click or not to click?
#11
I just received the same e-mail. After searching around Comcast's forums and some Googling, it appears legitimate. I have no idea why they decided that my account sends spam, and of those people who have inquired, I didn't see where anyone got a reply.

Oddly enough, I had recently changed my SMTP settings to use port 587 with password authentication. Out of curiosity, I changed it back to port 25 and tried to send mail. It failed, confirming that they had blocked access on port 25. (That was the hard way; later I realize you can just open the Terminal app and type 'telnet mail.comcast.net 25' or 'telnet smtp.comcast.net 25' and press Return/Enter. If it just hangs, your access is blocked on that port.)

Anyhow, I decided not to waste my time with them. I reverted my SMTP settings to port 587 with password authentication and resumed my life. :-)
