I've got a lead on a dual-core 2.3 GHz G5 for $500... seems like a good deal and I think it'd be a good acquisition to help supplement my MacBook Pro for video editing and such, it'll become a home-office machine as the MacBook Pro gets used at work (which is both at a desk and at coffee shops, restaurants, etc. around town with free WiFi).
I know I won't be able to run Snow Leopard, the new Final Cut studio that was just released (I'm still running FCExpress 3.5 tho and don't see myself upgrading to Final Cut Studio any time soon) and other software as they become Intel only, but it seems like a good deal. If nothing else I could resell it for at least what I paid right (the same machine is reselling for over $1k on PowerMax)?
