Alpha, et al., I wasn't suggesting that *I* would want this sort of thing to happen, only that I'm suspicious something like it might happen, because the other side has got to be pretty desperate at this point.
Also, I agree that a better bet would be some sort of terror attack, national emergency, etc. to suddenly make it imperative that McCain become President.
