Just curious-- how can they afford to have a "team of forensic scientists" on staff but not to take out a newspaper ad without an intense fundraising drive?
Anyways, here's what's gonna happen.
Scenario #1:
The ad won't run.
The millions of people represented by wethepeople.org, wethepeoplefoundation.org, givemeliberty.org, and a myriad of other sites that superficially seem to be connected to each-other but really represent large, distinct, non=partisan bodies of upstanding citizens deeply concerned about protecting the integrity of the US constitution will claim the Tribune (which endorsed Obama prior to the election) "suppressed" the ad.
Scenario #2:
The ad won't run, because it was never really placed.
The millions of people etc. etc. will claim the ad did run, and hope those outside of Chicago believe it did.
