Oh, well.
Obama chooses to self-identify as a black man. The overwhelming majority of black folks identify Obama as a black man. Most everyone Obama comes in contact with identify him as a black man.
He's actually articulated this much better that I could (I should be looking for my bed rather than looking for links right now) but attempting to define his ethnicity and culture by comparing him to a less than pedigreed dog is just . . . not right.
