No, it means that SCOTUS found no merit in the case and let the previous lower courts' decisions to toss it stand. Not a "technicality" at all, they could have found problems with any of the reasons and decided to review. Keep hoping, but your arguments for it to go forward were weak at best, wishful thinking in reality.
