itunes library problem

Ok, now this is weird. Normally I add video files to itunes by dragging the files icon onto the itunes icon in the taskbar. This now doesn't work. But if I use the "add to itunes" option under the file menu it works great.

I did the big update for osx last night, I don't remember if there was an itunes update. Can anyone else drag media onto the itunes icon to add it to the library?

I'm on itunes 8.0.2
