It looks like a fab movie that I've yet to see. Will for sure, though. I agree, Penn is as good an actor as we have now and doesn't get half the credit he deserves.
My first exposure to the story was about 20 years ago through the Dead Kennedy's cover of "I Fought The Law" with altered lyrics that addressed the story. Such a great band at a great point in time.
