bill b has it right.

You are looking for a sink tail piece with an input for a dishwasher

They come in 1-1/4" and 1-1/2 size so you need to know which one you have
Use nylon rings at the compression fittings - not tape or dope

FWIW - I would just go ahead and by an entire J trap sink kit and get rid of the flex pipe
Flex tends to move (and leak) and also the groves allow build up food, grease etc ...

You can buy the whole set up - tail piece, trap and all for $15 on plastic or up to $30 or so in heavy brass.
I prefer brass but plastic is sufficient.
