Yeah, because being lied to is sooo much better. Fucking Bush and McCain... "The economy is sound". I guess when you constantly lie it eventually gets to be second nature. I suppose the people being lied to eventually get numb to it as well and may in fact develop a need for it.
No thanks. I'd prefer being told the way it is by the President regardless of who it is. I'm grown up enough to deal with it, though.
