Live Stream for CPAC
#6
Let me clarify; there are some in this country that are further to the right than he is, some MUCH further (Evangelicals, various militia movements, separatists) but what they don't have that HE has, is the large audience that follows his thoughts.

I am saying that he gives no room to disagree with him, in that if what you believe does not jibe with EXACTLY what he says, that you are somehow un-American. He is very charismatic (to some) and he lulls these people into believing what he says, and the only way to continue is that to completely destroy the others. On one hand he talks about how he wants his side to win (me, foolishly thinking for a moment that his side is America) and then he fires off some hate speech (there is no other phrase for this) about another American with different ideas on how to help things improve for us all.

Neither he, NOR DO ANY ANY OTHER GROUP, hold monopoly rights to the flag, which I DO wave, nor do they hold all of the "love of their country" cards. You, or anyone else in this country SHOULD get rewards for hard work, no argument there. The issue that I have is that few are given the tools to work hard as public schools are underfunded and even if you work hard, if you are poor in this country, the deck is stacked against you. I know this as many friends I had growing up, ended not going to school because the local public school school was dangerous (drugs, gangs, fights) and the teachers were teaching to 35-40 students per class; this back in the mid 80s - it is probably worse now.

I do NOT believe his message is equality but everyone for themselves. He does not give 2 whits about most people.

I have not problem with kids playing soccer and keeping score; they should, as it would make them reach for a goal (no pun intended) and work together. The problem is that he is going on and on about how "we are the good guys" and "we are the party of compassion" when you can list many examples of those statements being lies (as well, I am sure, you can find statements defending your views about democrats getting caught in fibs). In many ways, his beliefs about people being "entitled" are no more disgusting than I see that people "hoarding" as has happened to the other extreme. There is some middle ground here, but you will never hear it from him.

With all of the money he makes, of course he is up in arms. He is pissed, not for the people who actually work hard for a living, but for multi-millionaires such as himself.

Don't fool yourself; he cares less for America than you think. For as much as I though Bush was a poor leader, I never, EVER wished Bush to fail, as Rush has said repeatedly about Obama. We are all in the same boat and if our leader fails, it does us all no good (except those who can afford it).
