I guess that it's quite fitting that a day after Team USA upset the heavily-favored Canadians in hockey that the biggest upset in US olympic history happened three decades ago today.

I was in 4th grade and almost instantly, every kid in my class knew who Mike Eruzione & Jim Craig were.
I visited the ice rink in Lake Placid back in the 1990s and admit that I felt a chill when I looked around and imagined the stands packed with flag-waving hockey partisans.
