Insight about AT&T data network and iphones

This article from ars http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/news/2010...rriers.ars suggests that the problem with AT&T is not really network capacity so much as it is configuration. Apple's choices to maintain battery life by having each data session disconnect, then reconnect means that the signaling channel is overloaded by constant refresh requests. The article points out that Europeans have not had the same problems that US users have experienced.

I think this might be good news: they will likely fix this flaw in the deployment of LTE. The iPad might actually function!
