Zagg invisibleShield -- BE CAREFUL!
#1
I sent in my iPod Touch (16 gig, 2nd gen) last week for Applecare repairs after the headphone jack only played out of one channel. It was denied coverage due to the moisture sensors having been activated.

I was irate when they told me this as I ALWAYS protect my iPod and it has NEVER been in contact with water... I was searching forums for a while trying to figure out if there was anything I could do -- and then I hit one post that pointed out that when you install Zagg's InvisibleShield (as well as other 3rd party protections) that you SPRAY THE SHEILD and it is quite wet when you install it.

I am sure that is how I must have tripped the sensor. I can't think of any other way.

I just wanted to warn others out there that you might (or may have already) void your Applecare if you aren't EXTRA careful when installing aftermarket protection.

(I just noted the irony that in trying to protect my iPod, I voided the warranty)

That's crap, but I guess it *is* my fault. Dangit.
