Drop off is probably the fastest, if it's a convenient drive. Shipping adds 2 days minimum, but actual service is done within 24 hours of arrival at the service depot, if the part is in stock ofc, in my experience.
For me, my last repair was a local drop off at an Apple affiliate shop (not an Apple Store)...less than 24 hours turn around for a logic board replacement on my MBP.
