Anyone watching "Game of Thrones"?

I'm reading the book currently. I'd love to watch the shows, but HBO stubbornly refuses to make them available via any avenue except through a subscription to HBO on cable TV. I don't even have a TV, so that isn't even an option. They need to get off of their crumbling, antiquated high-horse and move into the 21st century.

One word: torrent.
I'm not saying that they have to give up their old business, but there are many people in the same boat as me. I'm willing to pay. I just can't. There is nothing to buy. They are missing an opportunity to take my money and forcing me to become a criminal. I'm not going to sign up for cable and HBO without a TV just so I can use the HBO app on my iPad.

That seems reasonable and their current model solution is to wait until the season is over and then have you buy their dvds. It seems to be working so far.

As far as streaming goes, the new go HBO app is pretty awesome.

Watching it faithfully so far... good stuff.
I'm glad we had some action in the latest episode as it was starting to get a bit dull.

I find trying to keep up with all the families and whose father or brother killed who
a little trying though...

I recorded four episodes and put off watching them until a few days ago.

Now I'm hooked!

Btw, I was a big fan of Sean Bean from his Sharpe's Rifles days.

Too bad it doesn't work with Time Warner Cable.

Bullshit. Nobody is forcing you to become a criminal.

This thread inspired me to go to Pirate Bay to check out the torrents & some of the comments cracked me up.
Whinny kids complaining that there's too much politics & not enough action & adults calling 'em on the fact that is based on a series of novels & not a video game.

I'm being facetious. My point is that I'm NOT downloading torrents, so there is no way for me to legally pay for the material. Hence, HBO is missing out on my money.

Ah - understood. But if you're willing to wait a bit, the material can be had on DVD.
