In the mean time - looking forward to Sonnet's Echo Express/34 card adapter to TB. Gives some reasonable flexibility at a reasonable cost... but still very pricey.
IMHO - TB was pushed out about a year ahead of really being fully ready.... and early net year -will see the line up you'd normally expect to have seen near the initial introduction of TB. Things are a little cart ahead of the horse when an interface is out 4+ months before any peripheral is available. That said - this port is the future and I am GLAD Apple didn't wait to get it on these machines and give them that future... just frustrating to not have the variety solutions to take advantage of it yet.
