Anyone tried the Trader Joe's stuff? I found it disconcerting that there is so much variety within their house brand offerings, including significantly different amounts of the same stuff being counted as one dose across sizes and varieties.

that's the stuff my wife recommends for all her patients. People, dogs, horses and the occasional politician.
She's a physical therapist.
We get it at costco for about $50 on sale.

It's articles
like this that make me leery of spending my money for a product that may not be effective:
British Medical Journal wrote:
Conclusions: Compared with placebo, glucosamine, chondroitin, and their combination do not reduce joint pain or have an impact on narrowing of joint space. Health authorities and health insurers should not cover the costs of these preparations, and new prescriptions to patients who have not received treatment should be discouraged.

Hey Fritz, if you don't mind asking your wife something, could you ask her if the pills she recommends are better than this?
http://www.amazon.com/Wellesse-Movement-...B001G7QQ5O I buy this stuff at Costco on sale but would switch to a pill if it was better. Thank you.
