Another vote for elongated as long as it fits and taller.
Round is old skool.
Round is old skool.
Another crappy question: Round or Elongated Toilet for Small Bathroom?

For a 58" bathroom? Good luck finding an elongated toilet that will fit and will leave enough room in front. I agree they are more comfortable to use, but they can be impractical in a narrow space.

Elongated. I put in a replacement round one a year ago and regret it; also in a small bathroom.

Tape something 2" to your current one and walk around and see how it feels.

I built a powder room on the first floor of my house in July. The room measures 50"x55".
I installed a American Standard Cadet 3 bowl. It is elongated and tall. I have plenty of clearance in the front of the bowl, unless I wanna spread out the Sunday paper. Now everyone in my house fights over using the "comfy" toilet on the first floor as opposed to the round, short, 1960s-era toilet in my upstairs w.c.

For the money I don't think you beat this toilet. We have 2 of them now and one has been in for about
4 years and has yet to clog, knock on wood. Our handyman has installed a bunch these and he's also installed higher end toilets like the Toto and he says the Jacuzzi is the way to go if you want to save some money and get a great toilet to boot.
