As far as I know, all these cheap condeser mics sound amazing for what they cost. Most are made by just a few chinese companies, too. I doubt you can go wrong with any of them. Here is one I have used, and it sounded great:

It is unusual looking, but I liked the looks. The built in stand is nice. kj.

edit: for what it's worth, we used it with an ipad and garageband. I was impressed there were no issues whatsoever.

I would take a chance on a Chinese condenser from Musicians Friend or Sweetwater. They have a good return policy.

That's a good point. Guitar Center is even better if you have one in town (even if you buy it online). I think you can get any of the mics mentioned here at GC or Musicians Friend. kj.

Can't really comment on their USB selection, but I had friends who were enamored of the Bottles and Baby Bottles.
