I enjoyed it in its day; last few seasons started to fall off a bit for me. Basically, it was summed up as such; first 90% of the episode is misdiagnosis and the last 10% is House having an epiphany and saving the day, but berating the patient because they lied about a key element in their life related to the ailment.
One of the missed opportunities of the show was a plan, somewhere about mid-way, to bring in Stephen Fry as House's much more brilliant brother, who was a top-notch surgeon in the UK; his name, of course, was going to be Mycroft.
