Liberals are such hypocrites

And conservatives are not?

Your bias is showing swamp.

And Elizabeth Warren is awesome.

Presidential material there.
My bias is always showing. But, then so is yours. I was pointing out to FHM that fund raising on Benghazi is not exclusive to Republicans and he shouldn't be pointing fingers at them when Dems are just as guilty.
Your ignorance is front and center again. The donate button is in that location on every one of her blog posts. Let me know if you find mailings from her raising money on the single issue of Benghazi.
She's using memories of her Aunt Bee to raise money, too. So shameful.

Listening to the clip, I get the impression that truth doesn't matter, they, in effect, have already determined guilt. In other words, this will be a kangaroo trial.

Asked by MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough about the possibility that his panel’s work would continue into the 2016 election campaign, Gowdy replied that “if an administration is slow-walking document production, I can’t end a trial simply because the defense won’t cooperate.”

A trial? And the Obama administration is the defense? So much for that “serious investigation” House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) promised; his new chairman intends to play prosecutor, proving the administration’s guilt to the jury – in this case, the public.

Yesterday Gowdy dialed it back a notch with a lovely stream-of-consciousness display of jabberwocky.

"No sir," Gowdy said, when "Fox News Sunday" asked if he sees himself as a prosecutor and the Obama administration as the defense. "For 16 years I spoke in trial metaphors, and perhaps I need to get out of that habit. What I simply meant is, when you ask me how long something is going to last, I need to know how cooperative the other side is going to be. So to the extent that I gave any indication to anyone that I view someone as the defense, what I meant by that is, if you can tell me how cooperative the other side is going to be, I can give you a better idea of how long something is going to last."

Of course, cooperative means that they hand over the smoking gun documents that show that Obama acted directly to prevent the Navy SEALS from riding in to save the day.

Since this never happened and such evidence therefore cannot be handed over, they are being uncooperative.

Voilà!

These select committees are formed based on one "fact": that Obama did something bad and is covering it up.

Since the "fact" has no basis in reality, they can keep forming these committees that find nothing.

Truly, the gift that keeps on giving.

Perhaps the question is not what the CnC did, but what he didn't do. His actions the night of the attack have not been accounted for. We now know that he did not appear in the situation room (the "Dude" guy told us) and according to the WH guest logs he may have been working with his debate prep team. We also know that he talked wilh Hillary, but the substance of the conversation is not known.

Brig General Lowell said there were troops waiting to go, but the permission to launch (I'm assuming this had to do with the affirmation of a "cross border" clearence) was never given. Since only the CnC can authorize that we need to know if Obama ever issued it.

Here's an interesting opinion piece that explains the function of the White House Diarist who keeps a minute by minute record of the POTUS visitors, calls and movements within the WH. The diarist even makes notes on when the POTUS take a break to the bathroom. These are public records. There is precedent for their being subpoenaed by Congress (they were used in the Lewinsky investigation).
