LOL, s-t!

I'm going to be near one, so I'll check again. I'd only want one more MTP. OK, maybe a wired keyboard. One store had a BT keyboard, but it was $60, and a really don't need one.

All the power adapters I was were retail priced.

I've been enjoying my discounted Magic Mouse.

I might have to stop by and get another.

I stopped in our local Radio Shack and everything was FULL priced. I mentioned that many folks were getting apple keyboards, mouse etc. for half off and he said that was just the stores that were closing.

Obviously our mileage varies.
The first time I went in I cleaned them out of the keyboards, I went back just in case because couple more people in the office had their dibs on them.
The store near me was restocking, the clerk was telling me how just ordered 3 iPads for another customer and I did pick up another keyboard...

Used to have 3 RS within about 5 miles or so. Now the closest one is almost 20 miles away.
If they closed under-performing stores all of them gone is a bell-weather for the declined local economy.

No. RS closing stores is not a bellwether for anyone's local economy. They've been going out of business for years, essentially.

Their business model and plan and leadership all failed over the course of several years. Lots of stories online about this, some dating back several years but weirdly still relevant. The only reason any of the stores stayed open anywhere was inertia and subsidies from a very few higher-performing locations.

From what I gathered, at least that....

Thanks for the reminder, max, but I think the store clerk made an error during checkout. Walked out with a USB keyboard, a wireless keyboard, and a Magic Trackpad for just under $78, before tax, all new Apple product.
