Very nice pics. You were lucky it was only raining. I've been out there in March when it was blizzarding. Don't you remember my advice earlier..."The desert can be extremely cold in winter or early spring. Take warm clothes, and water, and food."

I did have warm clothes, water, and food, I just really didn't think I would need them. LOL

Yeah, you guys should just send me a plane ticket a few times a year, drought solved.
I was looking at the radar while we in Vegas and SoCal was getting hammered.

Nice photos. Dynamic range in those iPhone images is better than a lot of DSLRs I've used.

The 6+ does have a nice little camera.
I totally forgot to take any panoramas. Oh, well. Maybe I will just have to go back. Smile

A decade+ ago, I visited Deth Valley in what was, a VERY wet February. An EXPLOSION of color as flowering plants that rarely received water revelled in abundant moisture. It was something to see.

Yep, they said this Superbloom only happens like once a decade or so and supposedly this is one of the best ever.
The whole place was so much greener than I had expected. I had seen about the flowers, but all the scrubby little bushes were also covered in green leaves and some had more little flowers.

Looks like R2D2 should be rolling around the corner.

I was going to post that the pics made me want to fire up my old X-34.

Great pics, rg!
