I.. can't ... even....

Somehow we always assume this guy is at least intelligent. Is this the end game of some long con ? Is his goal for a 'legacy' to be the guy that created complete anarchy in the US by both major parties being unable to be elected.. one by being murdered, the other by being responsible for soliciting that murder ? Is this some sort of incredible sci-fi plot to throw the US into such turmoil that the Russians can waltz in and take over ?

What. The. HELL ?

Trump Campaign is frantically trying to reframe it:

But the Trump campaign was quick to dispute that interpretation. In an emailed statement with the subject line, "Trump Campaign Statement on Dishonest Media," Trump spokesman Jason Miller said:

"It's called the power of unification – 2nd Amendment people have amazing spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power. And this year, they will be voting in record numbers, and it won't be for Hillary Clinton, it will be for Donald Trump."

dang, it must be exhausting shoveling new sh*t every single day.

Did you notice the "OHHHH" expressed by the man in the red shirt behind Trump? The crowd got what he was saying altho you know the Trumpsters will come out "never happened".

Good catch. The people at the rally knew exactly what kind of meat he was throwing at them.

The whole comment:

Trump wrote:

By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. But I’ll tell you what, that will be a horrible day.

If his comment was about political unanimity, why did he say "that would be a horrible day"?

You know, he strikes me not so much as dangerous as like that uncle that just can't seem to keep from saying dumb/inappropriate/off-color things.

I just can't personally imagine why you would want to make someone like that president though.

HE'S not dangerous. It's the unbalanced and paranoid who may decide he is instructing them personally who are dangerous. He's like the Son of Sam dog only he is real.

And this year, they will be voting in record numbers,

lol, yeah! Because the 2A folks aren't already dedicated, single-issue voters!

(at least the ones who buy the "They're comin' to take yer gunz!" bait, every time)

"Bob Owens, the editor of the NRA-linked BearingArms.com, initially tweeted disapproval of Trump's comments. "That was a threat of violence. As a REAL supporter of the #2A it's appalling to me,” Owens tweeted. Bearing Arms had sponsored the May meeting of the NRA’s lobbying arm where the group formally endorsed Trump.

Within two hours of posting that tweet, however, Owens deleted it and put up a link to a new blog post on Bearing Arms, contending that Trump’s comments had been taken out of context."
