Ammo wrote: No, you wait until winter has passed and spring arrives.... But seriously, ANY decent first aid training will teach you to secure the area, keep them still and calm them down, provide what fast aid you can (pressure bandages, etc..) while help is coming. Do NOT move them unless their location is SO dangerous that you and they will be killed (like getting run over by a train or something). I learned that in high school in the 70's, and it was repeated in Red Cross classes over the next 40 years. Last fall I came upon a young woman having a full grand mal seizure after a football game. Her caregivers were there, and I knelt down beside them, put my rolled up jacket under her head for added padding, and had my son go buy a bottle of water for her when she started recovering. And stayed by her until she was sitting up. At least four big guys tried to 'pick her up' and had to be waved away. A couple of years ago I arrived perhaps 10 seconds after a T-Bone accident , pickup vs. Cadillac. A very elderly woman was seated in the wreckage of the Caddy. Engine was off, no gasoline leakage, everything was very safe. She wanted to get out, and I calmed her down and kept her in the seat and asked her not to move. Wrapped her wrist with my handy clean handkerchief (I always carry one) to slow the bleeding from a bad skin tear, and asked her to hold it. EMS arrived, I reported, they thanked me. She went out in a C Spine collar and a backboard. The drunken hillbilly that hit her was fine, and he was the cop's problem.

What kind of world do you all live in---The first thing--Call a lawyer and ask for a cut of the proceeds :-) I agree with the wait and evaluate, no hurry, they can't fall any farther than the ground.
