I feel sorry for her. Sometimes people become contrary and then get pushed further when they suffer some blowback. Instead of walking it all back she went deeper out of pride and destroyed her career. She does strike me as a self-destructive person. Nowadays, people don't really give you the space to repent. Maybe that's why she's going to Israel.

I'm truly sorry that what I said was anti-Semitic. I didn't mean it to be, but I'm not in the best position to say whether it was or wasn't.

To be clear(er), I don't think that all Israelis (or Jewish Israelis, or Jewish people) embody the qualities I stated above, but it's better not to leave that unclear.
