Also, Exxon has a nice app that you can use at it's pumps that draws from your Apple Pay.

Maybe. But oil is the lifeblood of the Saudi economy and civilization in general. There will be big money to be made by anyone who can get those parts to them in the quickest fashion. Someone will custom-make them overnight if they have to.

Foundaries and big machine shops love the phrase "We don't care what it costs, we need these as fast as you can get them to us!"
That order for five 30" titanium fast-close valves (or whatever) is going to be the top priority for every shift until it's on the pallet, and in the truck to drive to the airport.

It’s a profit making opportunity.
Most especially for oil & futures traders and the big 'bankers' involved in the shadows.

DoD suppliers love hearing that phrase.
USAF “Priority Parts Order”:
Order 6ea NSN #1234-00-00-9999 cable restraint for GE TF34 engine
Ship To: USAF Kandahar Next Morning
$ 12.00 ($2 ea. wholesale price, DoD is getting a bargain)*
$500.00 Packing & Next AM Shipping (5x actual charge but legal)
=======
$512.00 +
$102.40 CBP “Clearance Fees” (also legal, may cost $30)
=======
$614.40 = net Profit of $482 on $12 worth of parts !!
(* This is the amount auditors look at for expenditures.)

Our gas jumped $0.40 and hasn't dropped. :villagers:

Except for Costco and Sam's Club, who are always in a perpetual pricing battle. Those prices have so far stayed the same.

My area saw a 20 cent jump after certain events unfolded last week.

Up $0.30 on Monday and it has fallen 10 cents since. Should be back to pre-attack prices by Monday or Tuesday.

Here some stations jumped 10 cents on Monday, another still was at the same price from last week as of Tuesday. Haven't looked since then.

Up about 10 to 15 cents here over the level it had been for weeks. But that hardly distinguishable from background market fluctuations.

That's because we're in a "Speedway" state. http://www.thegasgame.com/speedway-effect/

Only Costco and Sam's don't play along with Speedway.

Speedway is owned by Marathon Petroleum, the company that also bought out Hess.
