I was thinking about what made last week's episode suck and I realized Lost is at its best when it develops the characters. This week's did just that. The Desmond guy is a decent actor, although I lost interest in the story a few times.

My wife was a huge fan of LOST but now she is saying that she really doesn't care anymore if she misses a show or not. She doesn't like the storyline always adding new questions and never bringing resolution to any of them. It is being drawn out way too much.

I used to be a huge fan but now I'm like I can live without it. I don't see why they can't just
,run all the episodes back to back and be done with it. This past episode should have
,been called, "Desmond the Lost". With things like the Polar Bears, the Monster, the black,
smoke, Mr Echo and Libby gone it's just not the same show. I fell asleep near the end of the
last episode. I'd rather see Survivor than Lost.

BTW: When does "The 4400" start back up?

I agree that ABC has done everything they can to kill this show. When Lost started, it was on at 8pm. It didn't make sense to me that the most intense scary show on television, and the best show on the air, would run during a children's hour. But I never watch TV then, so missed the first season. 9pm last year was the perfect time. This year, skipping the fall season and then running now at 10pm, with a rerun at 9pm, seems like a terrible idea too.

ABC though has a long history of ruining it's best shows; they did this with NYPD Blue year after year as well.
