What was your first Mac? What Macs have you owned?

Mac SE
PowerMac 7100
PowerMac G4 500DP (GigE)
iBook G3 800 (14") (for the wife)

I tend to keep and use my Macs until they have no more value ...

Probably won't replace the G4 for another couple years.

First Mac I ever used was a IIvx at a newspaper in 1992.

Desktop:
First Mac owned was a Performa 6400/180 in 1996 (cost $2300). used it for 1 year
Next: PM9500/200 (1997) with 224 megs of RAM! Used it for 2 years
Then: PMG4/450 (1999). Used it for 6 years. Upgraded to faster proc. Still running as the wife's Sims machine.
Then: PMG5DP2.0 (2005). Still using it today.

Laptop:
G3/250 Wallstreet (1998) $3200!
G3/500 Pismo (2004) Mint condition. Paid $500. Used as back up, road warrior, La-Z-Boy emailing and eBay surfing.

There have been many other Macs along the way taken in trade or surrendered as useless by their previous owners.

The beige was sold and is still in use - the iMac G3 was heavily upgraded and is still in use after sale - the G5 is my husband's and the intel is at my office.

All of the laptops since the 2400 are in use except the Pismo which was recalled by Apple after 4 trips for repair.

It was a BigMac in 1969 or so. I've had many others, they don't last long here...

Oh, you mean the other kind...

First was a Mac 128 upgraded to 512 by the dealer (512s were out, just out of stock at the place we went to). Plus an internal 10 MB hard disk (yes, whopping 10 MB ). Don't have.
IIci + upgrades (and a IINTX for like $6K; don't have)
8600 + upgrades (still have, not used)
Ruby iMac 450 DV+ (still have, not functional)
eMac 1 GHz (still in use)
eMac 1.25 GHz (still in use)
TiBook 1 GHz (still in use)
iMac G5 20" (still in use)
G5 Quad 2.5 GHz (still in use)
