Reminded me of the early Ford Broncos, like this '72 - which are pretty popular with collectors:

Looks like a 21st Century version of the 70s-80s mini-trucks:
- Chevrolet LUV
- Ford Courier
- Toyoto Hilux/SR5
- Datsun 620
- Mazda B2000

I can't remember, do we still like Bezos or did he have his picture taken with the president and now he is evil incarnate like Elon Musk?
Do you follow current events? Read news stories? Ever peek at the political side?

Bezos hasn't done anything particularly bad. The worst that I've seen or heard from him involved trying to get his mega-yacht launched. His divorce was pretty legendary but his wife is living it up on his money and is I believe the largest domestic philanthropist currently....so thanks Jeff! Jeff just seems like a person that would annoy the crap out of me. I think Elon is interesting, but again, he'd annoy the crap out of me if I had to work with/for him.

Rivian is doing well supplying last mile delivery vehicles to Amazon delivery contracting companies. I see them everywhere. EV’s are very logical for urban and suburban last mile delivery, considering regenerative braking makes them run all day.

Since Amazon is a major partner in Rivian, they are probably requiring their delivery partners to buy them.

Amazon is Rivian's largest shareholder?

I know that they are a big investor and had an exclusive contract with AMZ to supply EDVs. Some speculate that it is the "real" reason that Rivian won't support Carplay/AA.

Ford was also an investor, but I think they sold their position.

Ford sold their position for a tidy profit long ago. Probably saved the company to be honest. Amazon has recently released Rivian from the exclusivity agreement for EDV sales.
