My computer just keeps repeating;
"We are Tiger, Of Borg.... Resistance is Futile... you will be assimilated.... "

Same here with my PB.

First thing I've noticed is now my phone has a hard time connecting via bluetooth (haven't been able to get it to connect since installing 10.4.9.)

Edit: there we go, it took another reboot but it connected. The Mac also rebooted faster this time than right after the update.

The 10.4.9 Server Update is recommended for all servers and includes fixes for the operating system and various applications, services and technologies. It includes fixes for:
avoiding AFP connection errors when authenticating Active Directory users who are members of lots of groups
preventing SMB/CIFS server deadlocks and service interruptions
authenticating Windows clients when bound to Active Directory
copying read-only files to AFP shares on Xsan and UFS volumes
copying files with extended attributes from an AFP share of an Xsan volume
preventing NFS server hangs at shutdown
printing too many copies of a document when using the print server
using Open Directory authentication when using Ethernet Link Aggregation
slow performance of non-cached DNS queries; update to BIND version 9.3.2
better TCP performance with Windows clients and servers using rsync to copy files with extended attributes
creating and managing VLANs from the command-line
setting startup wait period after a power failure
time zone and daylight saving time changes for 2007
compatibility with third party applications and devices previous standalone security updates
Boy is that NOT a compelling list. Nice green bullets, though.

Wow, looks like I may have sold my old iSight just in time.

I am still holding off Installing the new QT 7.5.1. It does bad things to VLC not to mention embedded Vids. I'll wait a couple of weeks for this.

Just finished installing 10.4.9 myself (after doing a safety clone of my 10.4.8 system with SuperDuper first, of course).

Anecdotally, my Dual G5 feels a heckuva lot faster. Safari and the Finder were bogging down on me for a while, but this thing is really flying at the moment. We'll see how long it lasts and what kinds of glitches I run into...
