Ha! Posting is my break between compression on the iMac and typing on the MacBook. After page 62 yesterday I couldn't look at the screen anymore.
Pulling an all nighter, hallucinations should start soon

Set your watch to give you an alarm every 55 minutes.
Whatever you're doing, when it goes off.. take five minutes and go walk someplace... two and a half minutes brisk walk outbound, and two and half minutes brisk walk back.

FYI: For me, hallucinations do not kick in until day 5.
When I go a long time without sleep, I usually set an alarm to remind me to take a break every 45 minutes or so and jog around the room for 5 minutes or to go outside for a brisk walk. It gets blood flowing, breaks the sensory monotony and eases muscle cramps.

Often the "all nighter" is something I do, but it's voluntary. I can get so much more work done through the night, without any distractions to disrupt my concentration, that I choose to do it purposefully. As above, taking breaks is both wise and productive. I take 15 minute breaks every 2 hours or so, go over to my dart-board and shoot a quick game of 301 or Tactics, then wash my face with cool water, clean my glasses with soap and water, get a soda or snack, and then go back to my studio refreshed, ready to continue.
![]() Once the sun comes up, I'll make a fresh pot of coffee, have some fresh fruit and a bagel for breakfast, go outside and get some fresh air, water the plants in the patio, and go get the newspaper from the front driveway. That usually takes 45 minutes to an hour, and takes the edge off my physical state, and though somewhat "foggy" for an hour or two, after that things seem normal for the rest of the day.(tu) But boy oh boy, do I sleep great the next night...B) __________________________________ |
