My mother always told me "You don't have to speak a foreign language to impress a girl with your French".
The girl next door "translated" that for me. I've been a cunning linguist ever since.

Um, where does that line from, exactly?? Surely you have heard either the LaBelle or the Moulin Rouge version of this song. The next to the last line is the one referenced. Hey sista, go sista, soul sista, go sista Hey sista, go sista, soul sista, go sista He met Marmalade down in old New Orleans, Struttin' her stuff on the street. She said, 'ey 'ello, hey Joe, you wanna give it a go? mm, mm? CHORUS Guiche Cuiche ya ya da da, Guiche Guiche ya ya here. Mocha chocalata ya ya, Creole Lady Marmalade. Voulez vous coucher avec moi, ce soir. Voulez vous coucher avec moi. ![]() Whippet, Whippet Good

Oh, Rammie, I just realized I misread your original post, sorry. I have a horrible cold and laryngitis, so I'm not hitting on all cylinders tonight. I read "where is that line FROM" rather than "where does that line FORM". Boy that was a big error on my part now wasn't it.
