RIP: Harvey Korman. . .

Best part of the Burnett show was watching Korman try and not crack up. Nothing better than watching someone doing what they truly love. I know the skit you mean, Paul.

The scenes in Blazing Saddles with Hedley and the Governor are some of the funniest things I've ever seen.

[quote N-OS X-tasy!]Only two times in my 43 years has television had me literally ROFL:

- a brilliant David Hyde-Pierce bit to open the Frasier Season 6 Valentine's Day episode
- a hilarious Korman/Conway bit on an episode of TCBS I saw when I was 9 years old
Just watched the dentist bit with my 9 year old--I don't think I've ever seen him laugh so hard!

Here's one I did not realize...

He was the voice of the Great Gazoo on The Flintstones.

Talented man.... you will be missed.

R.I.P.

Great comedy from this guy! I loved the bit in Blazing Saddles when he corrected everyone about his name.

Governor William J. Le Petomane: Thank you, Hedy, thank you

Hedley Lamarr: It's not *Hedy*, it's *Hedley*. Hedley Lamarr.

Governor William J. Le Petomane: What the hell are you worried about? This is 1874. You'll be able to sue *her*.

I lreally enjoyed him too on the Carol Burnett show... very funny...

For some reason, I recall quite clearly him playing Quint from JAWS during skit that was pretty funny...
