Political campaign phone calls
#11
Hmmm. Does the Democratic party national hq have an 800 number? Does the Republican party natl hq have an 800 number?

I think I know what phone number I'm giving out when asked for one!

I have not done the DNC list.

I did install a call blocker from BellSouth or southwest bell or something JUST IN CASE.

It's a triple-threat type thing.

This is the one I have, but have only used it like one day.

I just received an email from the office of one of the candidates. They "apologized for any inconvenience" and said they would remove my number.

So far they have earned brownie points just for responding.

Thanks for those links SteveJobs. Some interesting info there!

Sucker!! ;-)
Now they KNOW they've reached you, AND they have a working email address for you as well.

Seacrest- you make me cry! I was feeling somewhat victorious and now I am so defeated. Sad

BTW- This is the original email I sent to them:
The phone calls need to STOP. This is becoming such an issue that it WILL affect my decision on election day.

dmann, primaries are always worse for phone calls because everyone calls likely voters of their particular party. In the general you may get a call from campaign of your party's candidate, but that's about it. Likely Democratic voters are little good to a Republican candidate, for instance. Television is far more annoying before the general, however.

I'm getting those too of course.
I'm trying to inagine someone getting suh a call and thinking, "oh, good, I've been waiting for this information", and turning down the TV and radio to listen.

Do what I did today keep them on the phone for about 20
minutes. I feel sure he wasn't expecting that.

M A V I C- gotta say that is weird. Did the caller have an Austrian accent? Perhaps this is Arnold's side gig? Smile
