There is a REI a mile from our place. Just bought a pair of fenders. I am ready for light rain commuting. Regarding the rain season, well, the weather has been screwy all over the world so CA is no exception. We are getting sporadic and unpredictable rainny days. DOesn't matter, as long as we have it. We NEED it. We NEED it badly!

Like RainX? I have no idea if that would actually work on plastic lenses. But you could look into what products exist for motorcycle helmet shields, which are also plastic.
what makes you think the lenses are plastic? for all I know, he said prescription glasses. Maybe he has real glass lenses (like in Europe)

I don't know that they are or are not plastic. I never said I knew what they were, simply that I didn't know if RainX worked on plastic (as a courtesy, in case kap's glasses were plastic, or for other readers who might want a solution also).

Rain-X can work wonders for the right car windshield but it needs to be really clean before applied. Rain-X relies on wind to clear the droplets. It does not work on my car at less than 35 mph and can actually reduce visibility in very light mist because the drops do not collect and blow off. I would only use it on glasses in the rain if I had a set dedicated for riding.

RE: the Cat Crap. If their anti-fogging spray is as good as their paste cleaner that I've used, I'd go with that.
