I really like my Centro too, but I've just about given up on its sync abilities. If I spring for Missing Sync, will it work on a Pre someday too?

Maybe that's why I love it so much. I "did" spring for Missing Sync right away. But then I would have done the same thing for the iPhone. I can't begin to tell you how "worth it" Missing Sync is. It even saves every single text message to a file that you can access. The Centro is the joint. The only issue I have is the fairly weak web browser (and weak camera) which looks to be resolved with the Pre.

Thats interesting, I thought the whole point of DRM was to prevent copyright theft. Is this a new thing?

I'm definitely considering the Pre as well. A friend told me it doesn't have video recording capabilities which I find rather odd. Can anybody else verify this?

From what I understand, it won't record video out of the box but Palm will add that feature via an update. I've not used the video with the Centro though I know it's there.

I bought it over the weekend. You're right. It's da bomb for Palm devices. Should have bought it years ago...maybe my Z22 wasn't as hapless as I thought it was.
