Why would a girl tell you all about the sex she just had with someone else?

I agree with Paul F., and I suggest that you respond to her with, "I'm sorry, but I CANNOT under any circumstances be 'just friends' with you. I find you far too attractive for that."

Could be insecurity. Letting you know someone wanted her. If someone wanted to go to bed with her, she must be desirable. That means you should desire her.

Guys play games like this also.

Or maybe she thinks you're gay.

Maybe she's letting you know she is casual about sex and available for you. Alot would depend on the actual conversation.

or again, maybe she thinks you remind her of her close sister and confidant, Clara... Wink

That means you are not on the "lover" ladder, you are not on the "friend" ladder, you are on the "eunuch" ladder. Sorry.

Obviously she's impatient for you to make the moves on her she craves. She's signalling her interest in you and is trying to make you jealous. Get her alone in an elevator, press the emergency stop button and rip her clothes off, making mad, passionate love to her. Ignore her protests and resistance. She's only testing your manhood and passion. Only when you've had your way with her will she be satisfied that you aren't the submissive fag she fears you are. Prove your manhood to her!

When she reports this incident to the police explain to them that she was obviously asking for it by telling you about sex with other men. They'll surely understand.
