Never thought of our Mac board as not having immortality, maybe it does in some way with the documented threads...
The diverse personalities of everyone here have given this board a life of it's own, when someone disappears, some how it's felt. Mint's his posts will be here forever. Thanks for informing us Alpha Dog... R.I.P. Mint....

Wow... I don't really know what to say. I didn't really have that many run-ins with 'Mint, but I'll miss him anyway. Didn't know we lived so close, I'm in the western Chicago suburbs. I'll feel the void, I'm a Cubs fan too. Guess I have to be, since Chicago's my birth city.
I'll think of you 'Mint when the Cubs win it all this year! RIP my cyber-friend. Jeff

I haven't been getting much sleep lately, so I wasn't checking in on the forum as regularly as usual. The news about Spearmint "Minty" came as a shock and saddened me greatly.
I will be among those who will miss his posts after anticipating his little "heads up" pretty regularly. I always checked them and I was happy to take advantage of many of his tips. He was deeply embedded in the fabric of our forum. Bye Minty! I'll miss you. GeneL

Very sad to learn of Minty's passing. I don't interact much but have read many of his posts. He (as many of you do) felt like one of "the gang" I hang out with sometimes. I hoped he was getting free of the troubles he spoke of. My condolences to his family and friends. And a final salute to you, Mint.

A loss of one is a loss to all. Grumpy, funny, confused, loving, frustrating, passionate - all things Minty was, and all things that made this forum what it was.
The community goes on, but lessened by one. Posthumous thanks, Mint, for making this a great place to be. Thanks to the rest of you for continuing the tradition of good community, and welcome to all newcomers to a friendly and genuinely caring place.
