. Thought of you with kids probably have an idea how much a 10mo old enjoys being pulled away form his parents, have his clothes removed and then patted down while he was on a cold, stainless steel table.

you mean like at the dr's office getting a shot ?
or ear, nose, throat exam ?
Not sure what kind of doctors you've been around, but they're not like that here. The tables are padded, the kid can sit on mom or dad's lap if they want, the parents help take off the clothes...

then the terrorists win.

The terrorists have already won by disrupting our travel systems, creating paranoia, causing us to spend trillions we don't have, and turning Americans against one another. It isn't about "killing us." Nobody who doesn't have hundreds of nukes will be able to kill us. It's about undermining our society, and they have succeeded brilliantly.

This is good news. It was very frustrating to have my then 10mo old have his clothes removed and be patted down by TSA because we had baby food that we wouldn't throw out, and it was on the exemption list. (The airport we were at didn't have the equipment needed to test anything for bomb residue on the outside.)

It was a cold airport, there was snow piled up outside... but we were not allowed to keep him bundled up. Had to take his shoes off even though they were essentially just leather socks (no hard sole, laces...) just because they were "shoes". Thought of you with kids probably have an idea how much a 10mo old enjoys being pulled away form his parents, have his clothes removed and then patted down while he was on a cold, stainless steel table.

[quote=Black]Profiling= terrorists win.
How so? Terrorists want us dead. If we profile, we're not dead. How do they win?
I explained that in the sentence before this one.

Just because OBL likes and idea doesn't mean they win. He can like the idea all the way to his grave.
