Hope it all goes well Mike. The couple of people I know who've had tumors removed from the brain both recovered completely and are fine. It's obviously a serious thing to go through, so best wishes, and keep us up to speed on how you're doing.

Best of luck. The brain is a wonderful thing... so much can be repurposed and rewired. We all wish you a speedy recovery !

GL...it sounds like you probably had a vasovagal event and passed out. Good thing they did a CT...the mass had nothing to do with you passing out.

Wow, what a scary evening at the gym. Good luck trying to relax this weekend! All best wishes for your surgery on Tuesday.

Brain surgery stories, hmm. A girl in my high school had a brain tumor, considerably larger than yours. I'm not remembering the details clearly, except that she suffered severe headaches. IIRC, the surgeons entered from the back of her head and removed an "encapsulated" sort of tumor. Fortunately, it was benign and did not cause her any other problems. This was more than 40 years ago. Mike, I've read your post over and over again. You've been handed an awful set of circumstances. My heart goes out to you. I'm praying for your complete recovery. May God bless you and your family.

Neurosurgeons can do amazing things these days, Mike.

My daughter has had three brain surgeries to remove tumors from her brain stem, and one would never know she had had the surgery.

Take care.

All I can say is WOW.

I don't know if I could handle all of that the way you're doing. Get well and be well. I'm glad it's a workable situation.
