Oh, come on. It's the 21st century. They don't have wire in Africa, do they? Yet telecommunications is a bustling, growing business there. People even pay for things with their phones in Africa.

Why shouldn't we modernize like they have in Africa? Are you saying that what's working for them isn't good enough for us?

In case of catastrophe... earthquake, flood, etc... only takes once. Cell towers are easily overloaded too on an occasion when Everyone is on the phone at once...
